<br />
This class has been an enjoyable experience for me. I was able to broaden my knowledge with social media that I had, and also learn about new ones. This class has taught me that depending on the type of business you have, you have to find the right social media outlet that is right for your target market and your brand.Through the social media outlet you are also able to better understand your competitors and try to be one step ahead of them. For my particular business, I was able to start a social foot print in Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.<br />
Facebook was not new to me because for my personal life I use it all the time. One of my favorite things to do is "check in" when I am at a cool restaurant or retail store. I started a brand new business page for my business. In my first week of posting for the first time, the post reached about over 1,000 views. It was very inspiring and made me want to continue posting to see how far it reaches people through the Facebook analytics.<br />
Instagram is a personal favorite in my personal life. I tend to post more on their compared to any other social media sites. When I first started the Instagram page for my business I was skeptical on perusing it because I was not sure what sort of pictures I would put up. Now the ideas of the pictures come randomly and it is fun to add the different hashtags in order for people to find that picture or video in a search. This semester taught me that a picture can say a thousands words and it is easy to post a great picture and getting followers because of it.<br />
Twitter was a social media platform that before this class I had never even visited in the website. What I found interesting the week we learned about tweeter was how many of our competitors were on their. I saw that it was a way for consumers to get a business attention by adding the "@' with their name on it. The week we learn about tweeter, I found out that there are lists you can make on your profile to make it more organized. Having a Tweeter page is beneficial because I can keep track on what is trending and other similar business's tweets.<br />
Overall this experience with this class has made me stronger in the field of social media. It made me comfortable with online tools that I would have never thought to use. It taught me how to make an advertisement and how to add google analytics to a website or blog. It has opened the gates by strengthening my social media skills and adopting to new ideas. Online marketing is key to a successful business.<br />

This week I commented on Cole Walker's, Karla Putts, and Taylor Bantle from Group 1. The reason I had to comment from someone in a different group was because everyone else from Group 2 (my group) except the first two names I listed did not complete week 16 blogs. I hope it is okay.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-14133954692138407412018-12-09T21:17:00.004-08:002018-12-09T21:17:57.485-08:00Week 16: Planning Your Future Strategy <br />
<br />
Throughout my time in this class, I was able to learn about the effective ways of using social media for a business. In week 7, I learn about engaging with my costumer through Facebook posts. The way I enraged with my customer in that week was very educational because it showed me how to get my customers, or potential customers their interest in a post for example a call to action post. Week 8 was also another week I enjoyed learning because I learn why it was important to have my business on Instagram compared to any other visual media because, since my business is a retail store I don't really have that much to offer when it comes to selling my product. YouTube is useful when you want to show a how to video on your product where Pintrest is useful when you have a lot of pictures that could be grouped together to make it more organized. Week 9, was another successful learning experience for me because I never used for personal nor business use. That week I was able to see what other competitors use Tweeter for and how you are able to address anyone by using the "@" symbol with their twitter handle. Creating a list of words for your twitter page helps to stay organized and create leads to page.<br />
The best social media platforms integrate best with my type of business is Facebook and Instagram. These social media platforms helps me stay informed with my customer's and potential customers. The tools I learned this semester like using the analytics page and the ad page can be useful when marketing my products. The analytics page is useful to see how well a certain post is doing and how many clicks I received either onto my Facebook page, my website and or Instagram. The ad making tools om Facebook is very useful because you are able to schedule when and who gets to see the ad. This is very useful for my business because we rely mostly on road traffic.<br />
My business should spend posting on social media at least once a week. Facebook posts should be scheduled and ready for the important dates like holidays. Engaging with the customers should be at all times. I now have my Facebook business page and Instagram connected to my phone so I am able to respond as quickly as possible. This is important because I want to constantly be engaged with my customers.<br />
For the month of January I am planning on scheduling a Happy New Year post though Facebook and mention if anyone mentions our posts can receive free Honey sticks that New Years Day. The schedule time should be around 5 am to get any of the driver who plan on getting a head start on their drive. For my Instagram I plan to add all the holidays photos taken by my customers that tagged our business and adding them to the Instagram story January 4th. For Facebook, Every Monday for the entire month of January, I plan on posting a "word of the week" for the customers to say to us so they can get discounts at the store. January 7, 14,21,and 28 at 6 am, I will schedule the post and ask customer's to share and like the page in order to be able to use the "word of the week" discount. For Instagram on January 12, I plan on posting about a photo contest picture to get more Instagram Followers. I will ask the followers to post a pic of themselves in one of the locations and tag 5 of their friend into the posts, and if those 8 friends follow our page and we like your photo. I will send them 3 free packs of jerky of their choosing. I am hoping to get more than 60 followers by the end of January. Looking at my analytics for my Facebook page for just this week, I am able to see the traffic my page have been receiving. For the week of November 26 - December 2nd, the page has received 5 page views which shows this is up 100% from last week of analytics. The page also received 3 likes for the week which is up 100% compared to the prior weeks. Posts reach was not so great where it is down 82%. The insights for the page are very interesting because it give you insight on how the page was liked either by searching, or if they are organic followers. I really enjoy the fact you can see how many people viewed your page either by age, city, country and devices. This is cool way to see what your target market can be helpful when thinking when and how to advertise.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-75637426185691486782018-11-29T00:34:00.000-08:002018-11-29T00:34:51.109-08:00Week 15: Optimizing Yourself and the Company <br />
Google analytics can be beneficial for any type of business. For my particular business, being a retail business the main feature that I would in the Google analytics is audience overview, demographics overview, and goal conversions. Audience overview will help me understand what type of people are interested in buying my products. By looking at the audience overview by hour, day, week and month. The audience overview shows me the city, and country as well as if they are returning users or new users. These features are beneficial especially if I am putting out a new product and want to see how well it is doing and who is liking it more. The demographics overview feature goes into detail on what age the consumers are, if they are male or female and what are their interests. This feature will help me with my business because it will help me with deciding on where to post my advertisements if I decide to post them on social media. The feature of goals under conversions will help measure how well my website is fulfilling my targeted objectives like a minimum purchase amount. These are the two ads that I have created ads that require a call to action. One to come to the store and one to visit the website and order online. For both ads the target market will be for ages 18-60 in the Los Angeles area. This ad will be effective because of the call to action requests being so easy.People tend to been drawn to limited edition products and for the first ad it is showing our target market we have special products for them to try! As for the website call to action, the Target Market can see that they are able to order the worlds most favorite jerky online! </div>

A good design using banner ads on websites can reach potential customers. If the design of the banner is easy to the eyes and has something that catches people's eye then the changes of getting a click off it is very high. In Facebook and Twitter you can develop certain designs to be posted on the different target markets that you are looking for.Your ads can be tailored to your goals, audience and budget. In order to create an Instagram ad you need to have the page be connected to a Facebook business page. Whatever ads you make on Facebook can be transferred to Instagram. Having an ad out consistently is an option to always have opportunities for more sales.<br />
The different types of ad include: promoting contact us button, get more website visitors, get more leads, boost a post, boost an Instagram, promote your send message button, promote your business locally, and promote your page. For my business I would choose to get more website visitors, and to promote my business locally. Since my website does not get nearly enough visitors as my physical locations, promoting the website can potentially lead to more customer's online. Choosing to make an ad to promote locally can really help with getting more customer's in the store since we are a road side store, we rely on the traffic. 2 weeks at $5 a day seems to be fair to create a basic understanding on how results can vary.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-45162781673926310612018-11-15T21:37:00.001-08:002018-11-19T18:16:19.291-08:00Week 13: Online Advertising <br />
The 5 business that I chose that are similar are Alien Fresh Jerky, Daniel Fresh Jerky, Miguel's Country Market, Dawyne's Fresh Jerky and Mahogany Meats. All the competitors do not have a solid form of advertisement. One set of advertisement that caught my eye was Alien Fresh Jerky. On their Twitter page they use the same form of imagery in the advertisement with a link to see plans to a new hotel they are planning on creating a hotel in the back of their store. I did not see any other form of advertisement for any of the competitors. I think the impact of traditional advertisement like a billboard sign is a faster call to action for a road side stand. The impact of social media advertisement I would say is longer lasting call to action because the customer's can find the business easier. For my particular business the traditional advertisement is more effective because all the store's are road side stores and met for road trippers.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-43678302549247948442018-11-15T15:43:00.004-08:002018-11-15T15:43:44.462-08:00Week 12: Part B Coupon Network & Yelp<br />
<br />
I am interested on creating a coupon and posting it on Groupon. In store we already offer a deal when you buy either 3 olive jars or 3 jerky packages. Adding a deal on Groupon of our local honey would increase the flow of traffic into our stores because I notice products sold in Goupon are the products that a little more expensive. Our customer's do frequently complain about the price of our local honey, so adding a coupon that offers $5 off our purchase of 3 small honey jars whatever flavor would really help with selling our honey as fast as our olives and jerky. The benefit of using a coupon site is having ways of getting new customers that may not have heard about our business before get to know us and maybe become frequent buyers. The downside of offering deals online is not having enough products to comply to the maybe high demand. This can results on customer's not coming back and becoming mad at our business. Depending on the product I think the customer's may or may not return.<br />
I have set up the yelp account for our business but it has yet to be verified. Most of our reviews are good and talk about how delicious our products are. Each location for my business have different ratings. All locations are more then 3 stars. The reviews for Alien Fresh Jerky seem to be 50/50, most people complain about the jerky how it is tough, others seem to like it. Since they seem to sell novelties many of the good reviews talk about the cool Alien novelties you can find there. Yelp does have an impact because a lot of users write their opinion about the product and or services. Yelp should be as important to all Business because it is real time opinions from consumers. Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-67128361679064962212018-11-07T15:52:00.000-08:002018-11-07T15:52:08.083-08:00Week 12: Using Other Social Media <br />
<br />
Depending on your business, there are many different social media tools that you can use. For my particular business, adding google plus, google maps, yelp, trip advisers, and blogs to be featured in can help with the growth of my business. Since my customer's are mostly customer's who are on road trips or on a vacation weather it be hiking, or a destination, being able to be recommended by others can help reach more potential customers. Yelp and trip advisers can be a good way since we have great tasting products having customer's share their experience and rate us, can really get us on the map for anyone who is planning a trip as a "must stop". This would also correspond with finding famous blogs that would like to feature us. Reaching out to people who are in the same mind set as our current customer's can help grow our business and make it become famous because word of mouth. Creating a google plus account can help with more popularity as well as finding more potential customers. Google plus is like other social media pages that can help with leads to new customers. It helps with customer's share the business's profile and either become friends or fans.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-87520032531285709642018-11-05T20:31:00.004-08:002018-11-05T20:31:40.658-08:00Week 11: Classmate's Blog <br />
This week I commented on Olivia Cruz, Andrea Esquivel, and Kimberly's Mcmahan blogs.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-14645782565568610022018-10-31T12:38:00.002-07:002018-10-31T12:38:55.044-07:00Week 11: Email Marketing <br />
Gus' Jerky newsletter would consist of information that customer's would find useful. Some of the things to consider in the new letter would be any special dates for an event at one of our locations, information about products customer's ask often, new product information, and any sales we maybe offering. Personally I do not like when a business sends newsletter every week. I would like to send a newsletter either once a month or twice depending on the situation. I want the customer's to not feel like they are getting bombarded with newsletter but still feel like they have some sort of relationships with the business. A competitor I follow their newsletter sends one once a week. They talk about random things but mostly about their products. I believe the information is repetitive and not so interesting where it makes me want to continue to be subscribed to their newsletter. By reading a competitors newsletter, I get the sense of how it is hard to come up with new interesting topics that keeps your customer from unsubscribing. When it comes to a food retail business you have to be able to not overload and extend the newsletter over the course that way customer's feel like it is necessary for them to be kept in the loop.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-5364758904031001312018-10-29T15:44:00.002-07:002018-10-29T15:44:41.910-07:00Week 10: Categories Post <br />
The categories that I would use to say organized and reach my target audience is the variety of products that we offer at Gus's Jerky. By having these specific categories I am able to know which customer's like what items we sell. Another category I would add would be the online customers and store customers. These would help reach more target audience because I can use specific promo codes for the online users. These different categories can help grow the business because it is casting a larger net into the specific customers. It is like adding many nets into a larger area of water so to speak.<br />
<br />Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-22516164190331738862018-10-29T14:52:00.001-07:002018-10-29T15:36:47.905-07:00Week 10 <br />
<br />
<br />
Adding human interest to a post can appeal to people's emotion because the person reading the post<br />
can maybe relate to the post or know someone they are close to that can relate to that particular post. Adding a personal experience to a post can help create this sense of trust and a bond between the business and customer. When someone reads a post from a business that they can relate to it makes them feel special. It makes sense to add a human interest when its a post that shares a story that maybe starts negative but because of the business's help creates a positive outcome. Another way that a sense of interest can add a human interest is when a business is doing a good deed. Adding a personal human interest to a post may not always be good because when it is a controversial topic that may only half of the audience can relate and make the other half of your audience maybe not want anything to do with your business.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-89903766463846663322018-10-23T10:59:00.000-07:002018-10-23T10:59:26.332-07:00Week 9<br />
<br />
For my connections, I used my the basic works to find my connections. I tried to play around with different keys that are near the each of the store locations. An example of this searches was: Hwy 395, Hwy 95, Searchlight, Golden Valley, Olancha and Mammoth Mt. I did not find anything I was looking for so, I decided to use the basic search word "Jerky". The results were plenty to choose from. It showed many jerky companies mostly the big corporation ones. I found Savage Jerky, and Jack Link's. I also found the ski resorts that was near our Jerky store location like Mammoth Ski Resort and June Mountain.<br />
<br />
I created two lists: Jerky and Celebrity Guests because I thought this lists can be easier to add people or businesses. These lists will help me keep organized with the celebrity guests because if there are many more to come we can have a good list for them. The Jerky list can help organize the viewers of my page find similar pages like Gus' Jerky.<br />
<br />
The best times to tweet during the week is when people are at work and I scrolling through their social media. These hours can be from 9am-3pm. The best day to tweet is on Saturday and Sunday when most people are off work.Sunday is the optimal day at 11 am and 1 to 4 pm. Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-74887596984839963842018-10-15T16:17:00.002-07:002018-10-15T16:17:38.392-07:00Week 8: Part Two <br />
<br />
Visual support can help with Gus's because since it is food, many would like to see how the packages look.<br />
A business I found on Instagram, use visual support. Three Jerks Jerky post a picture about 5-6 days consecutively out of the month. They have 5,596 followers, with about 100 likes per picture posted. With the number of followers Three Jerks Jerky has, they should be getting more likes on their pictures. They do not receive many comments on their pictures. Three Jerks Jerky are using many social media pages such as, Youtube, Pintrest,Facebook, and Twitter. They are definitely more active on their Facebook and their Instagram. Their Youtube profile seem to have the least amount of followers of 53. They do seem to cover all social media visual that is suggested as a business.<br />
<br />
Another business similar to Gus' I found is called Jerky Gold. This business uses Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook for their visual support. For their Instagram page they have about 6,238 followers but only receiving an average of 68 likes per picture with no comments. This business post one or two times a day. They add many videos of their jerky process, as well as pictures of other products they offer. All of their pictures are very consistent with having the jerky sell itself with the pictures. It makes me really want to try their jerky compared to other jerky store because you able to see that the they make the jerky themselves.<br />
<br />
A third business I found via Instagram was Kaimana Jerky. They have about 11.8k followers, however, there pictures likes are only averaging 25-30 likes per jerky picture. They do add many post of the Hawaiian islands and that seems to get more about 200-300 more likes compared to their jerky posts This jerky company is based in Hawaii so that it beneficial for him since people tend to like more outdoor pictures especially of a tropical island then a piece of meat drying. This company is covering all its social media tracks by using Twitter, Facebook, Pintrest, and Instagram to reach their potential customers.<br />
<br />
For the fourth business, I wanted to use a jerky company that is well known and it common in any gas stations or grocery stores. Jack Links Jerky has about 23.3k followers with an average of 200 likes per posts. They seem to add a lot more videos compared to the other jerky business. Jack's has all the social media accounts. They post about once a week.<br />
<br />
After researching these business's I learn a few things I can try to increase my followers. Some of things I can try would be adding more videos and pictures of outdoor scenes near our stores. I can also try making a twitter page since they all use twitter. Posting more content more frequently to keep the followers engage and to try to fish for more potential customers.<br />

<br />
The social media I currently have for Gus' Jerky is Instagram. The Instagram page has 144 followers. Since I started the Instagram page less then a year ago, I have not yet been able to see how effective it has been on the business. I have got many more website orders from all newer places in the U.S. and I am wondering if that is because of the Instagram page. I try to post a picture a couple of days before a major holiday and at least once a month. When I post a picture I tend to use a lot of hash tags because I want my picture to be found in searches my target market would be searching for. Some examples of my hash tags would include: hwy95, hwy 395, hwy93, olancha, jerky, california, arizona, nevada, and freshjerky. I currently follow 3 jerky business on Instagram. One in particular is a jerky business in Hawaii. Gus' has been wanting to extend its jerky business to include the state of Hawaii so, I liked to see what that business posts and see their followers to get an idea of how we should approach entering in a new state like Hawaii. Below is the link to the Instagram page I manage.<br />

These post will engage with the customers because one of the post is asking their personal opinion about what jerky flavor is their favorite. Everyone loves to state their personal preference so this post gives them the opportunity to vote, then even add comments or questions by replying to the post! The other two post will engage with the customers because most of our customers enjoy snowboarding and or skiing. By talking about opening day in Mammoth as well as free goodies that are going to be given away the week of opening season by a popular clothing brand, makes room for customer's to engage and ask questions about Mammoth or the clothing brand that will be at our store. </div>

<br />
The 4 businesses related to jerky I chose to like was Jerky Bros, Jerky, Jerky Box, and Mohagany Smoked Meats. I chose these particular pages because when I typed in Jerky those were the business that showed up first in the search bar because of the amount of likes they have. Jerky and Jerky Box do not have physical store locations, however since my business does have a website, I am hoping to be able to reach out to those customers. Jerky bros had many likes, but the number one reason I chose that business was because at our store I get hear customer's comparing that business with my business. Mohagany Smoked Meats is a business that is only an hour away from our main location. I decided to like them because they are our competitors.By knowing our competitor's move we are able to see what is working for them and what is not. Another business page I decided to like was Steve's Gourmet Olives. This business page had many like and seemed to emphasize online orders. This is a good business to perhaps grow our business by being able to reach out to their customers since we also sell gourmet olives. The 6th business page I decided to like was Safari's Dried Fruits and Nuts. This business not only wholesales dried fruits and nuts, but they also have a lot of consumer's that can potentially become our consumer. The 7th business I decided to like was LA Times. This is a well known news paper company in the area of most of our customers that come into our Olancha Location. This can potentially grow our business because we can maybe get a recognition and have an article written about Gus'.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-73101872567803130132018-10-01T00:39:00.001-07:002018-10-01T00:39:14.654-07:00Week 6: Facebook<br />
<br />
The difference between post reach and post engagement is post reach is the number of people who are unique and saw your content and post engagement is when people perform actions on your page. Post engagement is the amount of post clicks, likes, shares, and comments lefts. Post reach can either be paid or non paid.<br />
Knowing the difference is important because you can use the data to better analyze what you are lacking of. By knowing the difference you are able to create a plan on how you are going to better serve your customers. You are also constructing road ways in a sense to get more customers. You are seeing what your customers like and what they didn't like by either a picture or post you posted.<br />

<br />
The Target Market for Gus's Jerky is for the outdoorsy, on the go person who needs a quick healthy alternative to fast food. Someone who doesn't have the time or the tools to make a proper meal. They are either traveling on the road or camping.<br />
The target market will be San Diego, L.A, and Orange County residents traveling to Mammoth, or Lake Tahoe . Since the jerky is price is higher then regular jerky, the ideal consumer should be from ages 28-40. Preferably Male with education of a college Bachelor's or higher. Their economic class should range from upper middle class to upper class.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-7477201711519416472018-09-20T15:32:00.003-07:002018-09-20T15:32:30.148-07:00Week 5 Post One:<br />

Option 2:</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.subway.com/en-US/AboutUs">https://www.subway.com/en-US/AboutUs</a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://hungrybeardeli.com/contact/">https://hungrybeardeli.com/contact/</a> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Both companies are in the sandwich business. Each business is targeting male and female who like sandwiches made to order. Subway has many call to actions, but hungry bear deli does have one. Subway has many information about how the business was started, what they believe in. Hungry Bear Deli has failed to put a about us page on their website. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Subway really seems to try to get as many customers as they can, from veterans to people who want to take social responsibility.Hungry Bear only talks about how delicious and fresh their ingredients are really having a variety of target market age that like sandwiches. The overall message for Subway is to eat at their business because they help make the world a better place. Where the hungry bear overall message is, come eat at our place because our sandwiches are delicious and everyone thinks so too. </div>

<a href="https://www.chase.com/">https://www.chase.com/</a><br />
<br />
Both these websites are effective because they are designed to be user friendly and efficient.They are both easy to use and create brand awareness. These are specific designs so it creates brand awareness. The reason I come back to these website is because I have to in order to be organized and do well in school. I use the chase website to manage my financial statements to do well with my finances. I use the Miracosta website to check and submit my school assignments.<br />
What could be improved on the Miracosta website is making it where the teacher's used the same way of submitting assignments or posting announcements. The chase banks needs quick tabs for the information you need quickly such routing number or your account numbers. Having a quick tab of being able to transfer could also help with be more efficient.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07279539549762177128noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078938456925431744.post-57788870750882682322018-09-12T02:45:00.001-07:002018-09-12T02:46:27.508-07:00Week 4: Post One<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Problematic Websites</b> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://gatesnfences.com/">http://gatesnfences.com/</a> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This business's website has an idea of what they want as a brand name, but they added all of their ideas on the first page. They are not organized which makes potential problems for visitors. Like mentioned in the lecture, a good website is well C.R.A.P.H.T.E.D. Some of the three main problems that Gates and Fences is lacking of is typography, proximity and alignment. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
If this website were to minimize their typography, especially on their main page, it would help with visitors to not be overloaded with information. They should consider in drop down menus for all of their type of gates. The proximity of all the writing with the pictures, makes it look jumbled. If they were able to add the caption's of the pictures with a scroll over caption, it would help with the layout of the website. The alignment of the pictures, and the information are not well aligned to flow better with each other. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://jamilin.com/">http://jamilin.com/</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
While examining this business's website, I found it very hard to differentiate what this business is about.When I first clicked on this profile I thought it was a fake website that would steal my information. The website even contains Ads on the right with eerie testimonies. Using C.R.A.P.H.T.E.D, we are able to see that the three main problem with Jamilin is the concept, hierarchy and ease of use. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The website contains many concepts. This is a problem for a viewer because it would confuse them with the message you are trying to cast. Focusing on a concept for the page will help with the message of the business. In the website there is multiple items that is trying to get the visitors attention. A viewer may miss the most important content of the page. The website needs a content that is most important to be the attention for the visitors. The ease of use of this page is very shambled and does not provide the viewer with ease when reading the first page. If the page were to add the logo to create brand awareness and create a better layout for the viewer to read from left to right. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Well Crafted Websites</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.headhunterhairstyling.com/">https://www.headhunterhairstyling.com/</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This website has many attributes that make this a viewer friendly page. They created brand awareness with their logo on the left. Their logo is the first thing you see when you view the website. For an attention grabber, they added a large video that is a close up shot of someone getting a hair cut. This video helps build on with the message that they are a hair styling business. The business has 6 drop down slides with key words that most viewers would want to find when visiting the page. They divided their information into groups which helps with not having to scroll to find the information you need. One of their tabs on their home page has a contact us, which is really convenient for the viewers. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The design of the website is simple but, it made the branding of their business stand out. The aesthetics of the page fits well with their business brand. It is clean and organized just what I personally would like to see when looking for a hair stylist. The simplicity of the website does not make you feel overwhelmed. You are able to find all the information needed in a short time.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.nps.gov/index.htm" style="text-align: center;">https://www.nps.gov/index.htm</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The National Park's website has a great first impression because they follow the C.R.A.P.H.T.E.D concept mentioned in the lecture perfectly. This website requires a lot of information to be presented to the viewers. They did a good job to be well organized with sorting the different groups of information. Their concept follows their idea of teaching viewers about the National Parks and what they have to offer. The contrast of the page follows well throughout the website. Navigation around the page us user friendly. The designs are well thought out with pictures that are aligned </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My first reaction of the website that it was well thought out. It felt like a pleasure for me to read and learn about the different National Parks. The design of the website is well thought out and has many features that help navigate though the many pages of information. Their logo is on the left of the page no matter what page you click on, this helps with the branding awareness. Every page's aesthetics for their particular information provides beautiful pictures of the particular park. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
4: When I clicked on their google plus link it showed that the url was not found. As for the Pinterest page, it looks like they started working on it and only added the different albums and the album's cover photo. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
5: The last time they posted on their Facebook page was Super Bowl Sunday on February 4. The Pinterest profile has not added anything since 5 years ago.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
5:The most recent post for their Facebook page was September 5th of this year. Their last post on their Twitter page was August 14 of this year.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
6: This business seems to be fairly active on their social media pages. They are more active on their Facebook Page then Twitter.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Business Five</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1: Pirate Cove- Needles, Ca. (across the other side of river)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2: <a href="https://www.piratecoveresort.com/">https://www.piratecoveresort.com</a>/</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
3: The Pirates Cove only has 1 link for social media which is the Facebook Page. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
4: The link did work properly. Their Facebook page is used quite often.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
5: The most recent posts was done one September 5th, 2018. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
6: This business is very active on their Facebook page.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>7:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Living in the Tri-State area, there are many bars within a short distance from each other. I chose this 5 because they are the bars with the best reviews, some better then others. Many of them have similarities and what makes them unique. The information that I gathered showed me that all of them do not have a strong social media presence because they all have less then 3 social media pages. Most of the ones with more then one link to their social media url did not work. It was a bit difficult to pick business that actually had a website because most of them went straight to their Facebook page. I decided to add one to the list of 5 so I am able to compare it with the bars that do have a website.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
All of the bar's had a Facebook page. All the bars have posted less then 2 weeks except, the Wonder Bar. I felt like the Wonder Bar was missing the motivation to keep active on their page. I also noticed that all the bar they had some sort of food they sold inside. This is a good piece of information because it shows that food is a hit with alcohol. All the reviews mentioned how tasty the food was in all the bars. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Out of all the business's website I visited, I think Pirate's Cove was the best one. They only have two social media page but they do well on being active. Their website has cool pop ups and pictures of all the events they had in the past. On their website they have daily specials which is intriguing for someone who is planning something for a particular day. Their response time for their Facebook messenger said fairly quickly which is a plus. On their Tweeter page they send out tweets to their followers every weekend! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I was disappointed with the Bearded Gentleman's website because it felt like they were to lazy to make a website then add their Facebook page. This is a downside because a website you can make the image of how your business is the way you want it, where on Facebook its more customer ran because the customer reviews show up on the page. The Facebook page does not have a place to have the menu or the drink menu, which is a good thing to have because people want to see what you have to offer. Website give your customer more of an idea of who you are. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Overall, I would say they all need help on their social media presence. The Business's that are very active on their Facebook should consider maybe getting another form of social media that is popular with their target market. I notice that none of the business's had Instagram. That should be one that they should consider because of the hashtag. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
